Listening, creating and problem solving are hallmarks of my practice.

California Closets Reviews - Sue Lashmore
Right from the first contact that we had with design consultant Sue, we were comfortable that we were going to get a great result. The first project was turning a flex room into a truly multi-purpose room which can now be used as an exercise room, bedroom, gaming room, and storage. Sue’s ideas and suggestions were spot on. Having the ability to visit the showroom and see the 3D renderings was extremely helpful. The second project was turning a den closet into a functional space for files, printers, scanners, and office storage. Again, Sue came through with both functional and aesthetically creative suggestions. Both installation crews were professional, neat and polite. Not one spec of sawdust was left behind - all surfaces wiped down and cleaned. Nothing but positive comments from us!- A great experience from start to finish. Sue was a delight to work with, helping me plan a beautiful closet to meet our needs. I appreciated Sue’s professional advice, skill, her thorough knowledge of the product, and her ability to accommodate the ever-changing timeline of our renovation. Always done with a smile and positivity. Thank you Sue!

- This is our third customization project with California Closets. Our consultant, Sue, designed an office space and walk-in-closet for our new home. As we worked with Sue on a previous project, we were familiar with her good work and happy to work with her again. Everyone was professional and friendly. Any concerns we had were resolved. We are pleased with our new closet and office and highly recommend California Closets.
- Fantastic experience. Went with them on basis of overrun on a construction project on cabinetry and needed quick solutions for bedrooms. Sue was very accommodative and responsive and came up with great plans quickly. Install was done before the holidays and the team were incredibly efficient and made for a seamless overall result. Will be using them again next year on other parts of the house.
- We are extremely happy with California Closets. Sue, our designer, managed to create a space that needed to be used as a guest bedroom, a work space, and an additional place to cozy up by the fireplace to watch TV or read a book. We couldn't believe that all of this was achieved...and in a small space! Sue promptly responded to e-mails and phone calls, making our decision making easier. The installers were professional and efficient. This is our first time working with CC and our experience was excellent from start to finish. They even reached out to us within minutes of our initial expression of interest. The finished product might be more expensive than other companies but the design and quality are well worth it - you get what you pay for!

- We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish with California Closets. Designer Sue, was on point and created a functional and wonderful design for our home, working around some tricky access panels and vents. She created a mudroom, 2 reach in closets, and a wall bed for us that made our living situation at home much more bearable creating extra space for work, guests, and organization. Effective communication from the installation team ensured we were prepared and ready to go. The team of two that installed the closets were so detail oriented, thoughtful, and skilled. I highly recommend California Closets.

- Like many seniors who downsize from a house, the second bedroom in our condo was actually a den/office/exercise/storage room! The only thing it wasn’t was a bedroom. As we aged, we realized we needed to add a bed to the room, however, how to add one without giving up the other functions seemed an impossible dream. In desperation I contacted California Closets, who were recommended by a close friend. I heard back the next day from Sue Lashmore. We set a meeting and I was very impressed with her friendly, professional manner. More than that, I was impressed that she didn’t seem at all daunted by the task. After several emails, which included a 3D video of how the room would look, and a meeting at her Burnaby show room to finalize hardware, etc. she achieved the impossible. Installation took only 2 days and I have yet to see any flaws. Rick and his assistant were amazing! They worked very hard but they obviously enjoyed their work judging from the laughter coming from the room. We highly recommend California Closets and particularly Sue and Rick.
